Installation of a Rockwell Collins STAGE In Flight Entertainment System

The simple installation allows for access to content while in the air without the need for satellite or cellular connectivity on personal mobile devices and laptops.
A total content delivery solution, Stage enables passengers to stream and manage media including digital rights management (DRM) protected movies and TV shows. Rockwell Collins has secured content licensing rights with major Hollywood studios and other content providers to ensure proper management and acquisition of the latest content available.

The Stage library includes nearly 1,000 movies and TV episodes, as well as numerous business, technology, market and sports news feeds. The library also provides content for over 240 city destinations, events information, world-wide weather and easy-to-stream games. All this content is selected by flight departments from an intuitive, frequently updated web-based media catalog that’s loaded to the aircraft media server through wireless or physical options.

ALOFT’s campus is located at the Delaware Coastal Airport in Georgetown, Delaware and includes its FAA Part 145 Repair Station, STC & PMA ODA, Engineering and Certification Services and aircraft systems manufacturing. ALOFT also is a Boeing authorized BBJ Service Center focused on accommodating aircraft for interior completions, maintenance, modifications and auxiliary fuel tank installations. The ALOFT manufacturing team, and its ODA and Engineering Services are also available to support design and certification requirements for project work on behalf of our global customers.
