Upgrade of Rockwell Collins Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS-85) for GPS Scaling

Your needs

GPS Scaling

Your benefits

Specializing in the development of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), StandardAero’s STC Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) at its Springfield, Ill., location enables us to approve design data, tests and analysis, in addition to making findings of compliance to the regulations on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for aircraft alterations.

As part of this ODA, we utilize a team of experienced engineers, technologists, pilots and other industry professionals, allowing them to provide design and certification services leading to the issuance of STCs for alterations and modifications on a broad range of aerospace products. These include complete interiors, engine retrofits, airframe modifications, cabin entertainment systems, glass cockpits and other major avionics upgrades.

An alternative to FAA-direct certification services, StandardAero delivers considerably shorter STC certification times, dramatically reducing downtime. The new Organization Designation Authorization is not tied to an FAA Repair Station, allowing us to perform certification work on aircraft that are not in our hangars in Springfield, and for customers in approved facilities anywhere around the world.
